Wider beam pattern, Euro or US Ellipsoid?

Hey guys,

I've been searching the forum and from what i've read, the US and Euro ellipsoid is the same projector technology. So why is it that everyone recommends the Euro over the stock US ellipsoid? Is it b/c of the higher cut off for the road signs or does it actually have a wider beam pattern like the newer bimmers. I notice that the US ellipsoid doesn't have a very wide beam pattern. How about the Euros? Is it the Lens that creates a wider beam pattern? Thank you.

Yes the euro's have a different and better beam pattern.

They also take H1's and are much brighter than US ellips
