What would keep the highbeams on whenever the lights are on?

So I've been trying to figure out everything that has been done to my car and fixing the PO's "fixes" aka issues!

The current one is that the highbeams were unplugged; I plugged them back in and they are always on (with the lights on). Flipping the highbeam lever doesn't change anything. And the HB light on the cluster is always on when the lights are on. There is another light on cluster that stays on too but I can't rememeber what it is off hand. (will update later)

Any thoughts to what could be causing this? I've tried searching on here and bfc w/ no luck. I've also been searching for a headlight wiring diagram that goes by the wire color. Something I could follow and make sure everything is wired correctly...

    Thanks guys!!

sounds like you have either a back feed from the lows or a fucked up blinker/high beam stalk

are they sealed beams? if so check the wiring in the back, you might be feeding the high beam with a signal from the low

Yes they are sealed beams and I didn't notice any odd wiring between the lowbeam connector/wires going towards the highbeam connector/wires...
