    I want inner lowbeams.

Is it just a matter of swapping the plugs (assuming they are interchangable, im too lazy to go check) and the bulbs.

or would it require rewiring right to the bulb housing?

    is it even possible?

so you want to run low-beam on both inner and outer light? And at the same time?

Never done it myself, but I would imagine that all that is required is to splice the original low-beam wire and make two plug out of it, and seal off the high beam wires.

The inner lights won't be aimed correctly to be used as low beams. Why would you want this anyway?

i hate it when cars have inner lowbeams. it makes them look like theyre far away when theyre actually really close.

i wanted just the inner light as low beam.
just thought it would be cool. if it was a simple swap of a few things i thought id give it a shot, see how it looked.

if its too involved then ill leave it.

The thing about the high beam is that it has not cut-off for the bulb... thats what makes it a high beam. If you want an innter low beam, go find a shitty old sealed beam headlight from an old e30 and replace your high beam housing with it.

this is kind of on the same subject, but is there a way/bulb you can buy that would make your beams look like the newer BMW's? ie, low beam on outside lights, and high beams have that little inner ring of light on at the same time.
