ellipsoid question

so i had sealed beams on my 318is i picked up some ellips
but they dont seem brighter than my sealed beams?
anything that would be wrong?? there are water spots inside the reflector thing...also does the high beam suppose to be on? well not literally on but like low?
like this? i need brighter headlights

You wired them wrong. Highs should not be on like that.

damn i was afraid of that..ill fix that today maybe thats why my lows are not as bright as i thought they'd be.
