    TRiple Questions About Euro Smileys.

Yesterday picked up a set of Euro Smileys and currently I have a set of US smoked Ellips with the DDM raptor HID kit to illuminate these lights..

    - First off, I would like to smoke these Ellips. I have crosshairs from the US ones inside the highbeams; can they be removed, or are they glued in there?
    - Could anyone point me in the right direction as to how to smoke them correctly?

    - secondly, Can I just swap out the 9006 Bulbs wiht H1 bulbs, and be set with these smileys, or is there additional modifications required other than running wires through the housings?

    - The Euro Smileys have some Minor Pitting. On the US ellips, I used clearcoat (polyurethane) and I was displeased with the results, as it turned yellow, which I power-washed out. Would the Lamin-x work to clear the pitting, or is there another Type of clear coat that will actually be clear?

    Thanks.

Your questions hurt my head because they seem to not be in correct grammatical format. I'm leaving now.

laminex is clear, i have it on my h1/h4's no problems. if you tape your headlights for trackdays, be sure not to turn them on, or it will burn the tape residue to the laminex. ask me how i know.

Sell your HID kit for twice the price you paid for it on Craigs and buy a new setup/correct bulbs..
Teggy kids use the same bulbs and will pay for it.(Sold mine for $70 when I wanted a different wattage)

Wet sand your lenses(good long process) before you clear coat. It takes a while but works. I did it to my fogs and it turned out better than expected.

I couldnt I just pick up the H1 bulbs as a replacement? and just sell the 9006 bulbs? the new bulbs are about 15 bucks, and I am gonna do some HID's on MY 2002, so I would re use the ballast anyways.

              Thanks for yo help.

Oh okay. Well my method was more of a patience game to balance out the money spent or even make more money. Not sure about the bulb switching though; I've never had experience with it. But I'm not sure who is going to want to buy 9006 bulbs out of no where like that lol.
