House of Colors has real good candy paint.. check with your local automotive paint stores.

Just make sure you clear them with automotive-grade clear, or the paint will oxidize and turn hazy/matte after just a few weeks in the elements. Model paint is not made withstand outdoor exposure to sun and weather.

get some Testors candy apple red online. The paint needs to be transparent.

Another option is: take some clear coat, mix a few drops of your favorite red, throw it in a spray gun and go to work!

Your first suggetsion is the best. Testors is an excellent product.

I wanna do the "all Red" Tails but can't find this in stores anywhere. all what i find is the red candy For Ford paint. would that work?
