Red Candy Apple Paint.

I did mine with the testors clear red model paint and rust-oleum clear coat and works great. I did a couple of coats with the red just till the orange disappears then let it dry atleast 12 hours. Then did a light wet sanding with 2000 grit sand paper. Shot it with two light coats of clear but i waited 24 hours in between clear coat shoots.If you are not careful they will fog up when you are clear coating them. Also did a light wet sanding in between that also.;) I have extra set tail lights and thats why i could wait that long between coats.

seen it done, it looks decent. just be careful with that shit, it's really REALLY thin, and easy to make a huge mess with fast.

i still think s light coat of VHT nightshade would do them well. and it acts as a clear coat.
