    hid clarification

i have done a lot of searching already and i know what i need to get. i just want to get a clarification from some people on here who have already done it.

im looking for hids for lows + fogs. i know that:

lows take 9006 for us ellips - 6k.
    fogs either h3 3k or 6k - because i have yellow lamin-x.

is this correct? any recommendations? the lows with 9006 are direct plug and play? any help would be very beneficial before i complete my order. thanks.

i have the 55watt 6k lights in my lows and they are BLUE. don't let them tell you that the 55 watt will wash it out, because it is still BLUE!

go for the 4300K bulbs for better vision

im getting all 35watt. so your telling me that 4300k would be better than 6k for my lows? im thinking about doing 6k for both lows and fogs. or should i do 4300k lows and fogs?

i would do the 4300 for the lows and since you have the yellow laminx you could do the 3200 for the fogs, it will be a very yellow light projected then ( even without the laminx it will be yellow)

i want to switch out the bulbs for the 4300 and get the 3000 for the lows, but just have not gotten around to it.

I have 55w 5k and they are blue. The ass hats at DMM don't know what white is. Nor does most people - but it's not their job to.

huh? ive seen pictures of 6k and it still looks white. perhaps different hid companies make their bulbs differently?

my 6000k with 55 watt ballasts produce a whitish light with a blue tint, but my vision was much better with 4300 I had previously.

                    Treu dat!

Hey man the 6k looks "cool" its like white with blue hue/tint or whatever,
But i can always see best with the 4300k... even though the 6k is bright and ish,,, i compare it to looking dull compared to my 4300k.
