    DDM Raptor HID problem.

Just installed my Euro Smileys and ordered the 55w HID kid from DDM. I'm having a problem with them and they are not turning on at all.

    1. Switched ballasts and no go on both sides.
2.Check power and everything is good.
    3. Fuses are alright.
    4.

The only thing is that the third wire (white and blue for the previous sealed beams) I did not hook up at all, does that need to be connected with the other power ?

Could my kit just be messed up ?

I have been doing some searching and haven't found anything that could help.

within the first 2 days of owning mine. i had a bad ballast, they replaced it in a few days and mine have been working fine ever since. either that or maybe you hooked them up wrong. im gonna say hooked them up wrong since they arent even flickering

HID kit is single filament so, unlike the sealed beams, you only need two of the three wires. Use a volt meter if you need to. Splice power to power and ground to ground. Brown is always ground. Tape off the third wire.

just verify that you have 12V at the input to the ballast, does the DDM kit, have a plug that goes into the ballast, or are the input wires hardwired to the ballasts?

i just got done with my HID install, however i did not use a DDM kit, i verified that i had 12V on the input wires, before i installed the ballasts....

no the blue/white wire does not need to be connected to anything, the only wires used are the brown, and yellow.
