Firstly I'd say go the 4300K-5000K for lows, they have the best light output so if you need yours bright they'd be best. Some people use 3000K for the fog lights cause yellow light sees through fog a bit better than white light. I only have HID's for my low beams, not fogs. I got the 4300K and they work great. Got them from ebay, and from ebay they're all the same stuff.

I didn't get the slim ballast cause I heard they tend to play up a bit, but they could be better by now.

As for the question about wiring I can't remember the kit exactly off the top of my head but its all self contained, you don't need to splice anything. If you have Euro headlights I don't think you'll need any adaptors, just what wiring the kit comes with, obviously for H1 (euro) bulbs.

Ive been doing some research and have heard mixed opinions about the ddm HID kit. I wanna hear from you guys what ur using.. I need to increase my light output for driving in rural areas. Mainly im just wondering if thats a good kit, I assume they improved it from the past.

I think i want to run 55w low beams and 35w fogs. What temperature for the 55watters would give me the best light coverage over the road? I want to do this right and do it once, I assume the wiring kit is a necessity? What about the adaptor cables? I have Hella Euro lights now, had sealed beams before. Do i need the adaptor cables for the fogs as well?

Tried to search around but couldnt come up with some of the answers i needed.
