We need to find a reputable place to get HID's. I have set of ballasts in my garage so I guess I could get some bulbs and be good to go.Leave a comment:

i've had 3k DDM slim ballast foglights for several months now. i run them 100% of the time, and haven't had any issues. i'm kind of surprised, actually, considering they were like $40.
they are H8 bulbs for my e39, if that matters.Leave a comment:

after 3 years my DDM 55w 6000k lights are turning green, and my 3000k fogs died ages ago..
the warranty is nearly useless, you have to pay shipping both ways and wait for them to take care of it. meanwhile you have no lights. I want something quality next time.Leave a comment:

I have been running the ddm kit for about 6 months and its definitely one of the better purchases that I have made for the car. I'm running 35w 5000k for my lows and haven't needed anything else and its straight plug and play.
With the lifetime warranty, you cant go wrong.Leave a comment:

I have the Raptor 35w with 5000K bulbs in my e30 and they have been great, but I've only had them for about 1 1/2 months only. If anything goes wrong, they do have that lifetime warranty. I was told that if I had gone 55w then I would have needed wiring kit to supply more power the the ballast. That is what you want to run so I would say you need it from hearsay, but not personal experience.
My friend recently got the DDM Slim Ballast with 3000K bulbs for his fogs and I was not impressed. One side warmed up faster than the other and they seem to be mismatached colors. One side is more of an amberish color and the other is a really bright yellow. Also when you look at his straight on, they look white and only yellow on the ground. Going to go see if we can get them to replace them soon. I'll let you know how it works out.
I think the best part about them is the lifetime warranty they have on their kits.
Oh and if you go in to pick them up at their office in Huntington, their is a guy there that acts like a douchebag if you ask a couple questions. Wanted to deck the guy last time I was there.
Last words, $25 HID kit + Lifetime Warranty = Good deal to meLeave a comment:
