Here is the deal: I installed the fogs with working bulbs. Plug and play.
When I press the fog button in nothing happens except for the dash indicator no matter lows or highs on.
When I press the fogs on; and I the lights are in the off position or with the running lights the low beams come on dim. so I know there is power going to something. I don't understand why the low beams come on dim when the fog light switch pressed in.
update: when I turned off the headlights with the fog switch still on the low were dim. I tapped the relay and they went out. So I suspect the low beam relay could be sticking, not allowing the fogs to engage?
I swapped out the relays to see if the fog light one was bad. the fogs and lows use the same part number and both seem to work.
