Hella Fogs --- Please School Me

Hello guys, recently picked up an 87' 325is.

Both fogs are smashed... hell even the lower valence is damaged...

Either way, I am trying to get new fogs in there.

Now for the past 2 hours I have done lots of searching on any site I could find about which fog lights would be OEM replacements.

I know they are made by HELLA and are the valance mounted ones.

AFAIK these are discontinued or impossible to get as I can't find them anywhere....

Only thing I did find was the following on Pelican:

but I won't be spending $170 on each fog.

My main questions is this, if I get the "lens" only for the HELLA bumper mounted version, am I able to mount this behind my valance mounting bezel?

This is the lens I am talking about:

Any input is appreciated. I am truly new to the E30 scene.

I should have some at the shop, Ill check condition and get back to you on pricing.

PS just the lense will not work, you need the housing to hold in place and adjust properly.
