What color are these? Are they bright blueish? Whitish blueish? I'm looking for headlights besides my shitty stock yellow ones. Can someone enlighten me on this?

Yellow could be a colored bulb AND a color that results when stock clear bulbs get old and dims, usually from low voltage, making the lights look 'yellowish'. OR it may be a European yellow glass (Hella Gelb) originally for use in France, or that was installed by a PO for cosmetic reasons.
Can you pull the bulbs out and look at them?
What do you see, yellow bulb, yellow glass lens, or just seems yellow cause it's so dim? AFAIK, yellow lights weren't installed in US or Germany.
And yes, you can get higher wattage aftermarket bulbs at from 75 up to 130 Watts. Better have some realys and heavy gage wiring above 75 Watts, tho, and you will want to upgrade GROUND wires too. Just steer clear of so-called 'superwhite' or 'HID-Look' bulbs with a blue tint coating.
First step, tho, is pull the bulbs and look at them. They have the bulb type (H1, etc.) wattage (55W) and voltage (12V) stamped in them somewhere. And clean the lenses frequently, dust and dirt do not make them brighter.
And if/when you buy new lights, get headlight protection film on them to keep them from being broken or sand-blasted or chipped by rocks. $16 a set of four, correct size for BMW lights, just send me a pm or email.Andy says "Be Seen, and Not Hurt!"
