So would your friend consider brighter and 'visually larger' tail lights to hopefully avoid this kind of idiocy in the future?

Since he has Euro lights in the car, these could be upgraded for like half the usual cost. Keep the idiots off your tail by blinding them with brighter brake lights, a super easy mod for me to do!
