The US tails, you'll have to break the little bar thats blocking the hole for the rear fog.

AND MOVED TO THE CORRECT PART OF THE FORUM...

Yes, there is. Euro tails have rear fog lights. US tails can be modded to accept them though.

That sucks. Hope it wasn't too bad a hit. Don't see enough of our cars around, unless I drive by foreign auto shop there on Commercial. I try to keep a lookout for you when I'm in A-town, but I don't think our paths have crossed.

if you wanna get really technical, the euro lights have a different reflector pattern built into them too, the facelift ones forsure. gotta have the (e) code on the lights over here.
but yeah, as far as fitment, the u.s. will fit.

SO sorry to hear, hope no one was hurt.

So would your friend consider brighter and 'visually larger' tail lights to hopefully avoid this kind of idiocy in the future?

                            Have a look here,

Since he has Euro lights in the car, these could be upgraded for like half the usual cost. Keep the idiots off your tail by blinding them with brighter brake lights, a super easy mod for me to do!

Let's talk, I would love to help your friend out!

I'll stop by for a chat sometime. I live on Whidbey, just 3 miles south of the bridge. I go into Anacortes to visit friends and attend services. I drive a 91 318iS Alpine White with amber Hi beams. She's a little rough. I believe I have a spare set of tails, I'll have to dig around for them.
