    Just Got Some Ellipsoids..

Based off their present condition which I would say is quite good, is it worth

getting lamin-x clear protection for these?

Depends on how paranoid you are I guess.
You could get smoked lamin-x for looks and protection I guess too.

        film - good idea

        Nice find!

Yes, some kind of protection is always a good idea. Except sealed beams, of course, which these ain't. The glue on the film is going to 'fill in' some of the imperfections in the lens. They may look lots better, or only a little, depending. Clean em good before sticking film on them.

I have the XPel film, thicker than the Lamin-X and perfectly clear. $19 for all four lights, and it's got 3 cutouts for the aiming nibs already. pm me if interested.

I also can get Phillips 9011 High and 9012 Low super high output HIR bulbs for these, if you are interested . They are almost twice as bright as the stockers at the same wattage. You'll be impressed, especially with the lows, and no rewiring the car is required to handle them. I'll cut the alignment tabs to fit perfectly as replacements for the HB3 and HB4 bulbs. About $44 retail, I can get them at $39 each, maybe less for four.
