    E28 headlights to e30

Alright I used to have an e28 535is winter car. Which did not have sealed beam head lights. I am not sure what the proper term is but they have a replaceable bulb in the back and on the front glass they said H4. They also had regular sealed beam highbeams. I know they fit in the e30 but I was wondering if I have to change anything in the electronics like a larger relay for them?

Sorry if that is confusing let me know if other info is needed.

    Thanks

    5.75" or 7"?

    or
    Standard sized H4 lights?

H4 EU lights like cibies and hellas do fit but not all.

Much brighter but if the old housings have poor chrome or pitted lenses then they will not be that bright. If the bulbs are old as well they might not be so bright.

its a huge difference from the sealed beams. mine are also slightly pitted but they are an improvement.
