24 valve swap with no working reverse lights

Is this common or am I doing something wrong?

When I had the m42/g240 in there, there was wiring where the shift boot was for the reverse light. But now with the m52/zf, there is no reverse light whenever I shift into reverse.

What have you guys done to fix this.

I really hope this is a super quick fix but I'm all ears.

I know there's a pressure swich on the tranny, If the tranny thats in there now dosen't have oneI would recommend adding a rocker switch to the top of the sifter so when the shifter is in the "R" position it closes the switch. I don't have a pic of the switch but I'll post one Ina bit

that wire by the shifter is for the reverse light, and plugs into the tranny.... you may need to splice a different end on it to plug it into the new tranny.

Reverse lights wont work without it
