    High beams sticking on.

So. I replaced my turn signal stalk because my turns were working sporadically. Fixed that.

Now on occasion, then I go to dip my lights from high to low beams, the highs stay on. It's very intermittent, but usually after driving a good distance with the highs on. I try flipping quickly between high/low/high (flash) but that does no good. They eventually flip off (back to low beam) by themselves. I tried smacking the steering column to possibly jiggle a stuck connection, no dice.

Just wondering what you guys thought. Relay sticking? Switch fucked?

The switch is a junkyard switch that came with the car. PO knew about the turn signal issue and just hadn't gotten around to replacing the switch.

    Input appreciated!

I'm thinking so as well. Although it never did it until I threw this stalk in.

hello ! Did you ever fix or solved this problem ?

my high beams are stuck on all the time , it only turns off with the ignition key off , the rest of the lights are ok ( my reverse does not work , but it has been like this forever , changed the reverse gear switch on the gearbox , but nothing happened , light bulbs ok)

is it the relay or stalk ? fuses seems ok also

Sounds like the relay to me too. It's attached to the stalk wiring; did you reuse your old relay Slammin?

just so you know what happened :

it was a stalk problem , AND i had some contact problems in the fuse box

(i also had problems with the temp indicator in the dash, the blower was not working at any speed, and it all went away when i fixed this)
