    Tinting my tails?

I have a set of all red tails, they are too bright on my car. Looking to tint them down a bit and give them a really nice shine. VHT? Anyone have some advice for a nice shiny coat?

I tried clear coat on my old tails, did not work out well at all...

VHT nightshades works really well. As long as you are sure to spray them evenly, of course.

We did this to my roomates Evo X, didn't sand them or anything just cleaned them and sprayed right on. They still have a somewhat glossy finish to them too.

^^^ I've used that on a few cars. The nice thing about it is if you spray it on too dark, you can wet sand and buff it to a lighter shade.

Here's my Focus, I've had done for awhile.

Michaels store has a red glass stain that comes out bad ass on tail lights. Its made by krylon.

VHT Nite shades really a good option..It doesn't need to use clear coat over spray..Best method for tinting tail lights is spraying method..Holds up the best to weather conditions. And can be un-done with the correct procedures...
