Someone local is selling a 6000k 9006 50W X-Tec Racing kit new in the box. I was wondering if there are any adverse affects to the 50 watt kit; and also, how much should this cost?

There's a chance it could heat up too much. I would call Xtec and ask them about it, their number is 1800-XTEC-USA I think. You could also check how much it is new to get an idea of what to pay for the one that guy is selling.
