Ive seen several e30s with only one light on each side, cant find anything online about it other than picks, anyone know how to make them?

remove inner lights, turn sockets into air intakes? isnt that what they do?

No like the grill is solid and there is just one light on either side, I know what your talkin about but that's not it, google e30 single eye conversion and you'll see it

This is a bad idea. You won't have brights, and you will certainly lose the most commonly defined look of BMWs to this day; quad lights. Are you trying to get your car to look like some Russian shitbox?

The only thing I've ever seen on it was just getting two sets of grills, cutting, gluing/filling, painting.

And redsubdivisions is right, doing that, you lose a big characteristic of the e30 by doing that. If you dig it, go for it though.
