    Problem with headlights

I recently changed over my sealed beams to ellipsoids. I wired them in so that lows and highs work separately. but I am having a problem. My left high worked and then stopped. I wiggled the power supply side of the connection and saw sparking going on at male to female junction. I pulled on the wire and noticed it would go on and off.

Here is what I did so far to test: there are two lines going into one female connector from the car side. -normal - one is bridged to the low beam socket.
I tested the power line going in with a test light and it has power. I tested the other line and got nothing. Not sure if it should.

    Both grounds seem ok.

I also swapped out the relays just to see if anything would change.

    so, what could it be?

do you have a multimeter. Youre probably just going to have to look at a wire diagram and just travel up the line to find where the open is. This is usually how I troubleshoot my stuff

yeah I got one...I really didn't want to hear that option..LOL I physically looked all the way up to the point where the wires meet the bulk junction. I couldn't seen any visible breaks.

Update: The bugger was cracked right at the female end of the positive wire that fits into the plastic housing. I tested the wire all the way up to the junction and found continuity. so here I am thinking, why did I get a small spark at the connector. I opened it and bent the connector away from the crimp and found the wire rotted away so it wasn't making contact. I donated some from a wiring harness of my parts car; butt conneted them to test and sure enough the highs work.

thanks for your support. and thank God it wasn't something more complicated...lol
