I just picked up some used zkw foglights. The glass lens was not cracked but a mess. I wet sanded and polished it. NO GOOD. One body shop said to spray some clear and it will clean it right up. Another guy said that the clear won't stick properly and peel. Does anyone have any suggestions. Does anyone know the best way to restore glass lenses? I searched online and I can't find anything to restore glass lenses. I really don't want to replace it with the plastic ones on bmwlights.com. someone told me the plastic ones aren't that great. Please help.
