HIDs installed pics of hid vs 9005 vs 9006

So I finally got around to taking some pics of the new lights
    Here is both hids

    This is 9006 vs hid

This is 9005 vs hid (9005 bulb modified to fit in low beams)

This is 9005 vs hid outside

I bought these from Jim Powell at apexcone.com
These are there brand hids, apexcone. They have a lifetime warranty on the bulbs and ballast. Make sure you get them from him, he's a great guy.

Cant really tell much from those pics... I think the best would be to park maybe 10-20 metres away from a wall in a non-lit area at night, and snap a shot of the light against the wall.

From the pics you posted I can notice a color difference, but its hard to tell the difference in the lighting.

There should NOT be a diffeence between 9005 and 9006, except for the bulb BASE. 9006 halogens are dual filament. You can mod 9005s to fit into 9006 housings to avoid the "CAP" that is on the 9006 bulb, but an HID bulb has no cap on the 9006 bulb..

So basically, there should be no difference. You just wasted a bit of your own time..

actually 9006's are a single filament bulb, and not only that but 9005 are about 5 watts hotter then the 9006's
