running lights, turn signals, dash lights, oh my!

Ok so i just got done with my swap and now my left running light wont cut on, the turn signals stay lit up constant when the headlights are on but will flash when i hit the hazard lights unless i have the high beams on. It keeps blowing the fuses so they are currently out. ive replaced the turn signal switch/relay...no luck. i replaced hazard light switch and bulbs in tail lights. im stumped and im tired of getting pulled over... If yall have any ideas i would appreciate it.

Could be a problem with the headlight switch itself. I had a similar issue a couple years ago.

check the bulbs in the front turn signals. they may have burn out or got crushed or who knows what and are now shorting out the system

you my friend have a short somewhere in the harness. did you have this problem before the swap? check the harness in all the places where it come in close contact with the engine, transmission, etc... noone can really help other than really to get under the car and check all harness locations..

stop replacing parts, you are wasting money, you need to get a buddy and a good flashlight and get under the car and check the harness... my guess is that it got pinched somewhere and now it is causing all kinds of problems

i feel for ya. it is a crazy thing to deal with. take you time and be safe

                  good luck

b-well ive never had front turn signals haha but everthing still worked fine before the swap so not that.
rares i would have never thought of that, so are you refering to the engine harness or the lighting harness' that run to the back could have got pinched because the engine harness wasnt atached before the swap so i dont know how that could have been pinched. but i will look :D thanks again

the bulb could be shorting it as well. replace the front bulb. You already know that the rear is working correctly, right?

check continuity with a multimeter between the bulb socket and the chassis/ground. only 1 or 2 should have ground there, as it's a dual filament bulb. if it's 3 wires, only 1 ground, if 4, 2 grounds.

you can also test from the hazard light switch harness if you know the pin configuration, as well as the pin-outs from the headlight switch.
