    adjuster screw removal

    easy question: how do i remove the adjusters for ellipsoid headlights? i want to take them all out and clean them up.

      not sure if this was a joke but no pulling hard is not the correct method (though i did try this LOL)

      so I finally figured out how to do it and ill share for archival purposes: first the adjuster has to be rotated 180 degrees to fit through the slot in the backing plate. this is tricky to do - I had to use a mix of needle nose, and larger nose pliers. you also have to look on the other side as there is a plastic tab that sticks out on the adjuster and you need to rotate the adjuster in the correct direction

      after you push the adjuster forward the ball-end of the adjuster will be stuck in a black clip. I haven't found a perfect way of getting this clip off but if you fool around with it enough you can do it - they are pretty brittle and easy to break though so get a few new extras
