Burned out headlight-looking for some HIDS to throw in

I'm thinking that since one of my H1s were burned out I'd take a chance on some cheap HIDs. I was specifically looking at the DDM tuning 55 watt 4500k kit. I do realize that I should either spend $3-500 on a quality kit and/or update/retrofit to a projector from a newer car but once the Holiday spending is over the car needs a suspension rebuild, too so spending that much on headlights isn't in the cards right now.

This is exactly what I would recommend.

        This.

Just buy a new set of bulbs for your H1's. All you will be doing by getting HID's without projector housings is scattering light all over. Go HID's when you can afford to do it correctly.

Just bought a set of GE Nighthawks. Paid as much as a cheap set of HIDs but I did get a 1 year warantee and can taek them back to the auto store if anything goes wrong which I guess is more than if I had gone the DDM tuning route.

Is that a full kit with ignitors/ballasts or just the bulbs?
Link to where you picked them up from?

It's just regular H1 bulbs. They weren't even the top model Nighthawk H1s.
