us ellips - bulbs & smoke or yellow?

Just ordered some us ellips for my 87 325e bronzit. What bulbs seem to work best in them? I am debating 35w ddm tuning hid 4500k to not get a ricer look but if I do that for the lows what should I use for the highs?

Also with doing the lights I am debating between smoking all of the lights with lamix or maybe doing the yellow on the highs? With a bronzit car what normally looks best?

I think the 4500k 35w kit is great. For the high beams I would just get a pair of good and bright standard replacement bulbs. Having HID in the high beams wouldn't be all that great since they'd need to warm up every time.

Lamin-X is good for protecting the lights but keep in mind that the smoked version does reduce light output. I'm not a fan of doing that myself.

Dont do an HID anything. Unless you are going a real DS bulb conversion. Buy some hella premium bulbs and and 100w highs and you are good.
