drivers side hi beam works but low beam doesnt. help?!

hello everyone, new to the forums. just bought my 1987 325es.

the highbeams work on both sides, but the low beams only work on the passenger side. But they all work when high beams are on. what could this be? should i try swapping lights first? or do you think its a wiring issue?

    thanks!

are you running sealed beams or have upgraded your headlights, depo headlights or OEM?

Fuse. Driver's side low beam should be #13.

You swapped the low beam bulbs from left to right and still have the same problem on the same side?

The low beam bulb is a dual filament so the low beam filament could have burnt out in the one that's not working.

                    I have a similar problem...

Hella low beams, sealed high beams.. all were working normally..

Now, when I switch to high beams, the driver's side high beam doesn't come on, but also, the driver's side low beam (Hella) goes out.. additionally, the high beam indicator in the dash cluster doesn't come on...

Is this likely to be a problem with the sealed high beam or the dual-filament bulb in the low beam. (guessing that both aren't going to go out at the same time?)

We fixed it. The fuse was oxidized a little, it had some gunk on it. We cleaned it off and bam it worked!
