Smoked US ellipsoids

I currently have a set of US ellipsoids apart for a major overhaul (repolished lenses, reseal...) and am wondering if its worth it to smoke them while I have them apart. Is this considered a good looking upgrade, or am I pissing away time and effort on something no one would want?

I prefer US ellipsoids over Euro ellipsoids so go for it. I've seen it done a couple times and it looked boss, just like the hella euro smileys do.

went ahead and did some smoking of my US ellipsoids. I think the results are going to be pretty damn good. Repolished low beam lenses arrived today, and look FUCKING AMAZING compared to the pitted shit that I have for spare. Highs arent that bad, and arent used as much. Still waiting on funds to get new adjuster clips, then I can install these things.







I went with the X crosshair to avoid interference with the breather that the US ellipsoids have in them.

needed to know how many total I needed. also needed some adjusters.

You should put some clear lamin-x on the lenses you want to protect from pitting etc. I put some on my minty low beam lenses because they're pretty expensive to replace.
