Been reading that you can spray these or laminex the lens but what about replacing the whole lens with a yellow lens? Is it just too difficult or is the part just too hard to find? Too expensive?

    I have a 1989 325is

EDIT: Will something like this work best? http://elefantsupply.com/?page_id=59...roduct=5753706

i just received my set from elefant and they came out really good.
i went with the smoked lows and yellow highs, for the 14 bucks i am really impressed. the high beams work way better now.

          krylon/laminex/rattlecan yellow lamps are lame.

only doing the high beams in yellow is worse.

i actually like em, its on its way for shipment as we speak but thats your preference, i actually prefer mine looking rather unique, too bothered to really spend a crap load on actual yellow lenses

personally i like the look of yellow highs, plus the light output is way better.
though the smoked came out really good i think i might have to follow the DIY for actually smoking them.
edit: the only downside of the elefant film is that depending on your head lights you have to make slits for the nipples.
i found it really easy to just press the film against your headlight before removing them from the paper to make a template on where to cut.
