Hi there everyone, i have noticed that on my 90-e30, the left head light lights up far left and the right headlight lights up really low, that includes the highbeams as well, i was wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction on how to align them, if there is a knob that i have to turn? many thanks in advance.

There are two adjusting screws per lamp that can be turned by hand/flat head screw driver. Google some pics of e30 ellipsoid headlights to see how the reverse side looks. You'll have to remove the engine bay headlight covers. Drive a few feet away from a wall and make sure they are level.Comment

You need to inspect the moving parts and see why they're not working properly. Some of the clips could be broken, the adjusting screws could be seized up etc.

remove the head light covers (if you have them), and the front grills to remove them and take a look. The head lights are mounted to the rad support with 3 screws.Comment
