Gents,
I have researched the entire site and a few other forums on the web in order to seek resolution on the "best" way forward with regard to turn indicators/parking lights for my project--MTI/Euro Conversion.
The most in depth thread I found is here: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...al#post1087477
I would like to have the turn indicators (Euro) able to execute the following:
1) Blink with parking lights/lights off (turn signal selected)
2) Blink with parking lights on (turn signal selected)
3) Illuminate with parking lights on (no turn signal selected)
4) Illuminate with lights on (no turn signal selected)
On another site, one guy suggested using a dual filament bulb in the Euro turn indicator housing, which required a small bit of modification to the Euro turn signal housing in order to make a home for the bulb, and then a simple t-tap into the US turn signal wires with the homeless parking light wire--no pics or explicit DIY. Conversely, the link above from r3v speaks of using a diode and relay combo to accomplish this, but it lost me at diode...
Thank you in advance for the assistance. I am picking up my Cinnabar '86 e30 Thursday evening from the body shop--can't wait to post before and after pics... Solid car.
V/R,
Drew
