Drivers side low beam wont work

87 325is, went from sealed to us ellips not to long ago everything worked fine. I go to get food last night and the right low beam wont come on with or with out the high beams even while holding the switch. checked fuses (all fine) noticed my bulb was a little black (which was surprising as i just bought not to long ago) so i went a bought another bulb and still no luck. any one have this same issue?

Have the same issue with my E34. I was told it was probably the LKM (light control module).

I'm not sure. But I was told it's very easy to swap out.

I would double check your connection from the pig tails to the factory harness plug. there could be some corrosion built up on it. I had the same issue with my 87 -cabrio. Sometimes even with the low beam working the check control light on the header panel would come up. I think it was shorting a bit enough to let the light be on but causing resistance in the wires. Start at the plug -inspect closely as it doesn't take much to do it.
