    CCFL angel eyes installed!

I finally finished up my angel eyes project :D

There was alot of ppl on here that hated it, hate the idea of it on an E30 but i went ahead and did them anyway just to satisfy my curiosity. I thought they would look good and will give our E30s a nice look....and i think it does :p

Let me know what you guys think?

I had the chrome housing in the lowbeams removed.

It seems like there is too much going on in the front.

Nontheless...all that work, and no pictures of them on during the day/night?

Whats up with your fogs O.o

I think you should night shade the rings and put crosshairs in the highbeams. Subtle but at night they'll do what they need to do

I think if you left the chrome housing in (if possible) it would've made the ring blend in and not look so bug eyed.

Now i'm confused. You get an A for effort but why install them if you only want to run high beams? Did you even wire them?

Thanks for the A for effort! yes their all wired, the lows are just unplugged....it does kinda look bad with all four lit.

I tried this once. Didn't install because I thought the heat from the high beams would make things toasty.

This took alot of time, precision was key, making sure time of baking, prying out the lens and getting the angels to set in the housing was carefully done. Cleaning up the old glue was a pain! slipped and cut my hand a few time :( wired them up to the side markers

If anyone knows how to wire them to come on when i start up the car without any lights turned on....please share

That should be easy, just wire them to a constant 12v. Something like the ignition.

If you wired them to the side markers, they should be on with the running lights. Best way to do it IMO.
