Low Beams Not Working

So I finally got some Hella Smilies and I went to instal them

Long story short, I'm not getting a continuity reading on my multimeter from any of my low beam wires, so I don't know which ground is actually the ground I need to splice in the wire for the new smiley pigtail. Make matters worse, since there's no continuity, there's no voltage going through the wires which means guess and check isn't an option. I tried switching my low beam relay with the horn relay (same box relay) thinking that might solve my problem, but no luck... Just replaced my busted fuses, so those are all good to go too

what setup did you have before and was it working?

Just the sealed beams; those weren't technically working either

Left low beam wouldn't turn on, but when high beams were on, all of them would light up except the right low

Also, I've never had smilies before.. What bulbs do I need? (I read somewhere they're H1 bulbs, but I just wanted to clarify). There wasn't any marking on the bulb, so I didn't know what they are..

Need the city lights too, but ill probably just take my burnt one to Autozobe and we'll figure out from there

well since with your sealed beams all the lights worked at some point, that means the wiring still works and is able to carry current.

are you sure all the relays are ok?

if you try switching between highbeams and lowbeams do you get any signal in the multimeter?
