how to i convert from sealed beam headlights to ellipsoid?

i picked up some oe projector headlights from the junk yard today. just an impulse buy.
how do i run the sealed beam wires to the bulbs i use for the new headlights? do i need an adapter?
and does anyone know the bulb type i use in the us ellipsoids?

get the proper pigtails that mate up to the ellipsoids...and cut your existing plugs for the sealed beams...and wire up the new pigtails. I got pigtails from ebay i think...and it worked like a charm.

so cut old wires, cut new wires from donor car. splice new wires onto existing wires.

Yep. You can also get the pigtails at any auto supply store, I think I got mine for a Carquest, or Napa.

          Low beam = 9006
          High beam = 9005
