    are my markers the problem?

This may be a dumb question but I'm retarded when it comes to anything electrical. My markers have been deleted from the front DB. As of now the connectors are just hanging around with open ends. My battery keeps dying on me and my car will run fine but then die about a mile or so of driving after jumping it. Then when I turned on the hazards they would blink for about 10-15 seconds and then they would stop working. I try to turn the key on engine off and nothing electrical comes on. It has a new battery, spark plugs, fuel filter, ignition rotor and cap and icv is on. I just tested the alternator and it passed. Can the open ends be really fucking up my system. Before I take it to the shop to have some friends take a look at it I was wondering if this could be the problem? Key note: we have alot of packrats out here and I have seen pellets in my engine bay.

No, an open circuit will not be the source of your draw.
