Euro elips- do the ends of the adjusters sit in the plastic plugs?

    Euro elips- do the ends of the adjusters sit in the plastic plugs?

    My euro ellips are all busted up and held together with zip ties (thanks PO ). I bought all new pluts that the adjuster screws push against but I'm having a hard time putting them together. Are the spherical ends of the adjuster screws supposed to sit inside the plastic plugs before they clip in to the housing?
