    35w 6000k vs 55w 5000k

I have a set of 35w 6000k hids from ddm, and while theyre much brighter than the halogens, they still dont impress me. Plus theyre a little more blue than i care for. So im thinking a nice bright white with a hint of blue would be 55w 5000k?

I've read that 4500k is the best white and 5000k is just ever so slightly blue (sensitive guys on here will call you ricer).

I run the 55w 5k kit, and they seem almost completely white once they warm up.
Brighter than all hell too.... I absolutely hate blue tint in HID's and from what I had heard 55w 5k was the best you could get for whiteness, and I couldn't be happier.

Ive thought about upgrading to the 55w, but never got around to it. I got 5k in mine and its considered pure white, but i think its different for projector headlights. Mine give off just a hint of blue toward the edges. Blue tint isnt my style, but i dont hate the way it looks. If you want to stay away from blue, then its safe to say to go for something less than 5k.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Okay cool. I liked the way e39 and x5s hid's looked. Thought the 6000k would look good based on ddm's description but sometimes theyre too blue. At times they dont look terrible though.

Spike- diggin the vert man, looks great.

So far my only downside with my setup is the time it takes to let them warm up, takes some time!

6k 35w is blue 5k 55w is pretty much white. Maybe 6k might have a slight tint of blue, but the higher wattage seems to white out color

Yea my 35w 6k looks white in photos but in reflections on other cars its a bit blue. I think ill go with 55w 5k. For the fogs, would 35w suffice?

I should probably adjust the beam though
