    Making old fogs look decent

What techniques can I use to make these old pitted fogs look decent and similar to one another, they dont need to necessarily be perfect and clear which I know is impossible but anyway to make them look similar and presentable would be prefered thanks

i know meguiers makes that lens cleaner stuff, but its for plastic.. it should work on glass though... you can buy it at the dealer or probably kragen or your local parts store

You aren't polishing glass with a plastic polish.

You need strong chemicals to etch and clean glass like that.

Not worth the time or effort

there are glass polishes, but they might not do what you are looking for. most glass polishes are for getting rid of waterspots and light pitting. you are better of saving your time and money and buying new lenses or new fogs.

Ditto. You would have to spend at least 3+ hours on each lens with a high-RPM dremel and glass polisher to get them to look half decent. You can pick up those older fogs for like $30 a pair on eBay.

I'll just leave them be... have the buyer deal with them... they work and arent cracked good enough

give polish a shot, but those look pretty banged up, might as well just honestly pick up some onebay.

One thing is for sure, you're gonna need new fogs regardless, those look awful. So its time for experiments. I would do a very fine grit wetsand and spray a couple of clearcoat layers on top. Might get somewhat of a shine out of them, and will only cost you a few minutes of labor.
