Ok so this probably isn't the best idea I've come up with. Today I picked up a set of ellipsoids and baskets for 10 bucks. one of the baskets had a small crack on the high beam side but I fixed it with plastic epoxy. I'm trying to find just the high beams. So here's my idea. What if i were to take the baskets and cut them in half and only use the low beam side while keeping the sealed high beam. I'd also have to cut the sealed beam baskets in half so the high beam could still be mounted and adjusted. The nice thing is that later on I could go to H4 non sealed beam replacements on the high beams but keep the projectors that i want. That's my idea. Weigh in guys before I go and do something really stupid lol. Or offer me a good deal on some ellipsoid high beams :D

Like someone else said, you need to put some time into doing it correctly. Most likely more time than it is worth.
Remember that the sealed beams are metal and the elips are a plastic housing, you may have some problems getting the epoxy to stick well to the metal.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

Im all for waiting to do it right. I just dont want to have to pay 100 dollars for a set of highs when I've seen an entire set of ellipsoids go for that much. One of the baskets is already cracked and I used abs glue to fill it in and strengthen the housing. Im gonna be heading to the jy to see if I can find a set. If I can't, what about e34 highs. I know the mounting is different. I could modify by cutting and shortening the mounting tabs. Problem is my local yard usually isn't cheap on parts....
