    left blinker issue

the left blinker on my 1990 M is blinking very fast. i swapped blinker relays, cleaned the sockets and bulbs are good. they both blink but just very fast.
what else could be wrong/causing it?

i'm also not getting power to the trunk light switch, fuses are all good. interior light module issue?

are your right side bulbs all in good order?

are you referring to the light on the interior of your trunk lid?

It sounds like an issue with grounding. The turn signals and rear lights fall under central module according to the etm.

It is a grounding issue almost for sure. Get some fine sand paper and clean the metal that touches the back of the light bulb.

yes, it is an issue with the housing grounding to the chassis. it's corroded to hell
