I attempted to do the Independent Fogs DIY

Everything seemed right when I started, and looked at my fuse box to make sure that this would work...

but I did this...

and now my fogs just stay on when the lights are on but the ignition is not in, as opposed to the fogs being able to come on without the lights on when ignition is on, I dont really need/want them to come on without the ignition on...

may have something to do with the fact that I am m50 swapped

4. Reinstall the relays, with K4 not seating completely due to the soldered wire. Use care when installing K4 because I ran into a issue by pushing forcefully down on the relay, where the low beams came on and stayed on even w/ the keys removed from the ignition. I'm guessing the extra wiring I soldered was pushing up on the base of the relay, causing the internal contacts to touch and engage the low beams. I simply backed off on the install pressure and everything has been fine. Turn on the parking lights + fog switch and enjoy the resul

Hmm i think i got it now, is there a way to do it so the fogs are jut always able to turn on or off regardless if the lights are on or not?

Mines come on with parking lights.

Tea thats how mine are now, i wanted it so that if i push thr fog light button they would turn on...u know independently,
