I did drill out the caps for the back so it so the bulbs are slightly weatherproof.

    Can't wait for the mini h1 .

    Very happy with the kit

Find a smalled projector and get to work.

Installed my morimoto h1 elite.kit into the eBay smiley
I can already tell its gonna be brighter.... still waiting for the retrofit with e Ellidpsoids and morimoto.mini h1 projectors.

Low quality photos since I was in a hurry when I took these.

The lights are VERY bright. The patter is actually alot cleaner than it looks in the photos.

I drove past an S2000 and his lights looked VERY dim compared to mine (though he had epic cutoffs)

Needless to say, I am VERY happy with the H1 Morimotos.. The light goes VERY far and the color is excellent. I was expecting a little more yellowish but instead they appear almost pure white.

    The Morimoto Ballasts feel sturdy.

    Here are some daytime shots

Luckily I was able to find some decent mounting locations.

Doesn't show in the pictures but wow for the 124.00 I spent on the ebay kit, The results are still pretty hot.

the next step will be the H1 Mini projectors!
Morimoto on the driver side. DDM tuning on the passenger side. The lights werent aimed at the camera but I couldn't get a pic that didnt look like that.

i did some research and a fellow on bfc fit the morimoto minis into us spec projectors with only minor modification to the housing and easy sealing. damnit now im going to waste money and get it. upgraded lighting is a disease.

EDIT: nvm, i see the brackets and black cheese all over. seems like the bulbs are some D2S. pretty cool.
i have an extra set of euro projectors (just the projector) from the depo's i used for the retrofit, if you just want to replace yours.

and yes, brackets to hold it on. the tape was for sealing purposes only.

Thanks for adding to my lame post straight6pwr..

Yeah I may just comission someone here to build one of these for me. I don't mind getting spendy as long as I have something that works really well.

I was going to get the FX-R Stage III Combo that included everything but I chickened out at the last minute and picked up a Morimoto Elite HID setup. i'm goign to see how it looks on my smileys and if it's decent I might keep it. If I get bored or decide I need better I'll probably get the FX-R Stage III..

But if they will actually make an E30 kit I would sign up for that in a day.
