turn signal issue

Hi guys, I need some help, I have been searching all night with no answers.

My passenger side turn signal is not working. When I signal, the indicator light doesn't come on but I can hear the signal flashing fast. If I play with it for a while eventually it will come on. Also sometimes it gets stuck on, no flashing, just on. This started a couple weeks back.

Bulbs are good. Hazards work fine.

Wiring?


OT: but my ford explorer is also having issues with the signals. I signal and they just get stuck on (no flashing) Any thoughts?

If messing the the signal stalk makes it worth my first guess would be the stalk itself needs to be replaced. If it's not that it "could" be the flasher relay or hazard switch but I doubt it.
