HID left lowbeam not working (E36)

I have an e36 and noticed that the lowbeam wasnt working on the previous owner's makeshift HID kit. I had to buy new ballasts and bulbs. I installed the lowbeam one on the left which was plug and play and still doesnt work. I checked fuses that look fine and double checked the connections. I am not sure why it wont fire-up.

How do you do that? How do you have HIDs converted back to stock? And speaking of HIDs, would they be worth it on the e30?

Did you try flipping the connector upside down? (the one that mates with factory headlight connector)

What head lights are you running? Stock or aftermarket? If the wiring isn't connected right (in most cases with the aftermarket ones), it could lead to this problem. I remember getting a set of depos for my e36 and all the wiring setup is wrong. Followed the diagram provided and it was all b.s.

You take out the HIDs go buy some halogen bulbs bam stock.
as for the E30 Euro Lights and good bulbs.
