Question about bulb type

I have a 1989 325i andnim looking to get an HID kit from ddm tuning. My only question is what is the bulb type for my car?

im assuming your 1989 325i has US ellipsoids(projector). which mean it uses a 9006 bulb for the low beam.

for maximum light output get the 4500k ones. for show purposes the choice is up to you.
