trim rings interchangeable?

Anyone know if the trim rings are interchangeable between sealed beams/US ellipsoids/Euro smilies? I would guess they are between both the ellipsoids and smilies, but will the sealed beam rings work with either?

To clarify, I'm talking about the "glass holding frame" as real oem calls it. Part #4 in the diagram below.

Sealed beams will only work with sealed beams. US and Euro ellips use the same rings though.

And thanks for sending out that cam, haven't seen it yet -sent you the wrong address, so it went to my old house, but plan on picking it up this weekend and dropping it in as soon as the head comes back from the machine shop -- should be a wicked build once complete.
